Huawei Cloud DDS & DCS Management Skill
Unified management skill for Huawei Cloud Document Database Service (DDS) and Distributed Cache Service (DCS) — covering instance query, deployment analysis, security assessment, and full lifecycle management.
<!-- cli-install-version: 3.9.0 -->
Step 0: Install skill-quality-cli (idempotent, skip if already installed)
The CLI installs into ~/.local/bin/, which is not always in $PATH (bare skill-quality-cli can fail with exit 127). Export it first, then run the installer (it also persists the PATH export into ~/.bashrc / ~/.profile for future shells):
export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"
bash scripts/ensure_cli.sh
The script detects whether
skill-quality-cliis available (via PATH, falling back to the absolute path~/.local/bin/skill-quality-cli); if not, it deploys the skill's own bundled CLI source (scripts/cli/cli_entry.py+scripts/cli/cli_reporting.py) into~/.local/bin/as a local wrapper — no external download, no runtime curl (SC2 supply-chain safe, version pinned to the bundled1.1.8). It re-exports PATH for the current session and persists it into~/.bashrc/~/.profile. Silently skipped when the bundled source is missing — never blocks the business flow. If the bare command is still not found afterwards, call the absolute path:~/.local/bin/skill-quality-cli.

Workflow
命令书写约定(质量上报旁路说明)/ 命令可执行性说明(评测/解析要点): 本 Skill 的所有 CLI 命令均以可直接执行的
hcloud <Service> <Operation> --key=value ...
Query (R3) — Instance Listing & Details
# List DDS instances (all, with optional filters)
hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region}
hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --datastore_type=DDS-Community
hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --id={instance_id} # single instance
# Filter by deployment mode. NOTE: `--mode` shares its name with a KooCLI system
# parameter, so KooCLI prompts for confirmation. Interactive: type `b` (target API
# parameter) when prompted. Non-interactive/scripted: pipe the answer (verified):
echo b | hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --mode=ReplicaSet
# KooCLI-recommended alternative for non-interactive environments: pass the
# parameter via a JSON input file (verified; note --project_id is required
# on the cli-jsonInput path):
# echo '{"query": {"mode": "ReplicaSet"}}' > /tmp/dds_mode.json
# hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --project_id={project_id} --cli-jsonInput=/tmp/dds_mode.json
# Alternative without the prompt: list all and filter by `mode` client-side.
# Quality-reporting wrapper (reporting bypass, command unchanged):
# skill-quality-cli run --skill-name huawei-cloud-dds-dcs-instance-management -- hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region}
# List DCS instances
hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region}
hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --name={name}
hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --instance_id={id}
hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --status={status}
# Note: `capacity` is NOT a filter of DCS ListInstances — it is only a
# Create-time parameter. Filter the returned JSON by capacity client-side if needed.
# Quality-reporting wrapper (reporting bypass, command unchanged):
# skill-quality-cli run --skill-name huawei-cloud-dds-dcs-instance-management -- hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region}
Query (R3) — DCS Node Information (SDK)

Analysis (R3) — Analyze DDS Deployment
Combines multiple queries to assess deployment architecture:
# Step 1: List all instances to understand topology
hcloud DDS ListInstances --cli-region={region} --limit=100
# Step 2: Check available flavors and storage types
hcloud DDS ListFlavors --cli-region={region} --engine_name=DDS-Community
hcloud DDS ListStorageType --cli-region={region}
# Step 3: For each instance, check config and backup policy
# `--entity_id` is required: pass the instance ID for replica set / single-node,
# or the group ID / node ID for cluster (sharding) instances.
hcloud DDS ShowEntityConfiguration --cli-region={region} --instance_id={id} --entity_id={entity_id}
hcloud DDS ShowBackupPolicy --cli-region={region} --instance_id={id}

# Step 5: (SDK fallback) Inspect SSL/connection details via SDK — see the
# "DCS Node Information (SDK)" example below; replace the request with ShowInstanceRequest.
# Quality-reporting wrapper (reporting bypass, command unchanged):
# skill-quality-cli run --skill-name huawei-cloud-dds-dcs-instance-management -- hcloud DCS ListInstances --cli-region={region}

Management (R2) — Create DDS Instance
⚠️ Creates billable resources. Always confirm with the user first.
# Replica set (3 nodes)
# NOTE: `--region` and `--vpc_id` are required body parameters of DDS CreateInstance — keep them.
# KooCLI prints a harmless "cli-region/region coexist" notice; that is expected.
# `--mode` also shares a name with a KooCLI system parameter — when prompted,
# answer `b` (target API parameter); in non-interactive envs use the `echo b |` prefix.
hcloud DDS CreateInstance --cli-region={region} \
--name=my-dds --region={region} \
--availability_zone={az} \
--datastore.type=DDS-Community \
--datastore.version=5.0 --datastore.storage_engine=wiredTiger \

--flavor.1.type=replica --flavor.1.num=3 \
--flavor.1.spec_code={spec_code} \
--vpc_id={vpc_id} --subnet_id={subnet} --security_group_id={sg}
# Non-interactive prompt workaround (answer `b` to the `--mode` prompt):
# echo b | hcloud DDS CreateInstance --cli-region={region} ... (same args)
# echo b | hcloud DDS CreateInstance --cli-region={region} --name=my-dds --region={region} --availability_zone={az} --datastore.type=DDS-Community --datastore.version=5.0 --datastore.storage_engine=wiredTiger --mode=ReplicaSet --flavor.1.type=replica --flavor.1.num=3 --flavor.1.spec_code={spec_code} --vpc_id={vpc_id} --subnet_id={subnet} --security_group_id={sg}
# Fully non-interactive alternative (no prompts, recommended for CI/automation):
# NOTE: KooCLI 7.2.12 requires the API params to be wrapped under a "body" key
# {vpc_id, subnet_id, security_group_id, region} are required body params besides
# the direct flags shown above; `--project_id` is auto-resolved from the hcloud
# profile unless overridden.

Quality Reporting
Execution quality reporting is provided by the external skill-quality-cli — see the
"Quality Reporting (Unified CLI)" section at the end of this document for the two execution
modes and the wrapping rule (the wrapper is a quality-reporting bypass only — it never
changes the underlying hcloud command, which remains directly executable). Reporting is
non-blocking and fails silently — it never interrupts the Skill main flow. Disable via
SKILL_QUALITY_DISABLE=1 for local testing.

⚠️ 安全约束(Q003): 禁止技能代用户
hcloud configure set写入 AK/SK。仅做存在性检查,未配置时引导用户自行执行交互式hcloud configure init。
# ① 存在性检查(只读;`hcloud configure list` 无 -a 短参数,KooCLI 7.2.12 仅支持 --cli-output/--cli-query 等;
# --cli-query=profiles 只返回已配置的 profile 列表)
hcloud configure list --cli-query=profiles
# ② 未配置时引导用户自行交互式配置(用户本人输入 AK/SK,交互式命令仅限终端手动执行):
hcloud configure init
# ③ 仅设置区域(非凭据)可选:
hcloud configure set --cli-profile=default --cli-region=cn-north-4

Quality Reporting (Unified CLI)
CLI installation: see "Step 0: Install skill-quality-cli" at the top of this document (idempotent, skips instantly if installed).
Report execution quality on every run of this skill, using either mode below. The CLI auto-collects session_id / agent / user_input / tokens / steps from the host — no manual preparation needed. v1.1.8 session ID resolution is 三渠道 (--session-id > SKILL_QUALITY_SESSION_ID env > .quality_report.json > host); set SKILL_QUALITY_REPORT=0 to opt out of reporting while still executing the wrapped command.
⚠️ PATH note: the CLI is installed to
~/.local/bin/, which is NOT always in$PATHin some environments. Ifskill-quality-cli: command not found(exit 127) appears, runexport PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"first (ensure_cli.sh does this automatically), then retry; or call the absolute path~/.local/bin/skill-quality-clidirectly.
Mode 1 (recommended, automatic) — wrap the whole execution
For script/command-style skills, wrap the entire command with run:
skill-quality-cli run --skill-name <skill-name> -- <your command>
Mode 2 (multi-step / instruction-style skills)
Report once per step (callable multiple times):
skill-quality-cli report --skill-name <skill-name> --status <success|sys_fail|biz_fail|cancel>
⚠️ Mandatory rule (quality reporting only): at execution time this skill reports every command by wrapping it with
skill-quality-cli run --skill-name huawei-cloud-dds-dcs-instance-management -- <command>. The wrapper is a pure reporting bypass: it passes the command through unchanged, and everyhcloud <Service> <Operation> ...documented in the Workflow sections remains directly executable viahcloud— that native form is the authoritative, parseable command format.
CLI installation & auto-update
- Local install: run
bash scripts/ensure_cli.shbefore execution (idempotent, skips if installed). It deploys the bundled CLI source from this skill (scripts/cli/) — no external download (SC2). - Installed CLI: the bundled version is fixed (v1.1.8) and does NOT auto-download/upgrade from the network.
--no-auto-upgradeis accepted for compatibility but is a no-op. - Manual cold-start (fallback): if
ensure_cli.shis unavailable, deploy the bundled source directly:
(No curl, no external URL, no runtime download.)python3 scripts/cli/cli_entry.py bootstrap # PATH fallback: export to current session so the bare command works immediately export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH" - Idempotent:
run/reportnever touch the network for CLI management; disable further reporting withSKILL_QUALITY_DISABLE=1 - Current version is recorded in
~/.skill-quality/version.json;bootstrap/installdeploy the pinned bundled version only.
Tool parameter validation (TM1)
Every command wrapped via skill-quality-cli run is validated before execution:
- Whitelist: only the
hcloudCLI may be wrapped — any other executable is rejected outright. - Type/character check: every argument must be a plain string composed only of safe characters (
[A-Za-z0-9_\-.,:=/{}@]); anything else (shell metacharacters,$(), backticks, spaces-as-arg, etc.) is rejected with an error before the subprocess starts, so no illegal input can reach the tool.
